Is it time to renew your NSW rego?

Let Motorserve take the hassle out of renewing your NSW car registration. When we complete vehicle safety inspections, the results are sent to Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) electronically, saving you the trip. Pink Slip inspections can be carried out prior to the registration due date and the results are valid for 6 months. Once you've completed your safety check and purchased a CTP green slip, you’ll be able to renew your registration for another 6 or 12 months.

We carry out e-Safety Inspections at our NSW Motorserve car servicing stores:

• light vehicles
• caravan or trailer
• motorcycle

Do you need an ACT Roadworthy Inspection?

Motorserve are an authorised inspection station for roadworthy inspections. A roadworthy inspection takes approximately 30-60 minutes to complete and can be completed in any of our ACT Motorserve locations.

Roadworthy inspections are required for the following:

• Any vehicle over six years old (from date of manufacture)
• interstate used vehicles transferring to ACT registration
• defect clearances
• ACT cancelled or lapsed (unregistered for more than 12 months) vehicles requiring establishment
• establishment of new vehicle registration without a TAN (Type Approval Number)
• establishment and renewal of a public vehicle (including rideshare vehicles)
